The lovely photo which forms the background to the title of my blog was taken by Tom Blackwell. Over the last few years he has taken some amazing pictures of urban Manchester, and has a number of portfolios which can be found on the photo sharing website flickr.
As a fan of Toms work, I often check to see if he has uploaded any new pictures - to my delight I found this new photo giving a rather unique vista of Manchester.
